Given the current world scenario, phone companies still expect to release new phones this beginning of this month and long into the summer. Although some of us could straighten the belt right now, manufacturers like Apple and Samsung are still building phones at this very moment and they still want you to buy them. I guess we are going to see how well it works. In February, phone shipments dropped 38 per cent compared to the same month in 2019, despite worries regarding coronavirus. I can’t believe that March was any better but we’re going to see. Nobody really knows how the next few months will turn out, so what follows is the latest strategy as far as the phone launches go. Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 Samsung is a corporation that bets that the future of mobile apps is foldable. Until unveiling its Galaxy Fold in February 2019, it operated on foldable displays for years. Samsung’s tool, which expands into a tablet from a phone, caught the attention of the world, but it soon ran into trouble. When several reporters noticed screen flaws in their review units, the company postponed the launch of the $1,980 Fold by five months between April and September. It’s planned to launch round two of the Fold this year, building on what it learned from the debacle last year and the Galaxy Flip in February.
