Amid increasing cases of coronavirus across the country, Kerala has become a role model in keeping the deadly infection under check. Not only has the state been able to ensure adequate medical facilities for its residents but has also set up kitchens to feed migrant workers left jobless due to the lockdown. On Prime Time today Ravish Kumar speaks to Dr Vishwas Mehta, Additional Chief Secretary, Department of Home Affairs, Kerala, about the state’s systematic efforts in taking care of migrant workers, managing supply chain of essential items and healthcare facilities. Dr Mehta says that Kerala has among the best last-mile healthcare facilities in the country.
